Good morning, New Jersey! A highlight of the Pine Barrens is Batsto Village, a restored 19th century village in the southern edge of Wharton State Forest. The village consists of 33 buildings, including a general store, a grist mill, sawmill, workers quarters and a post office that is still in use. The main attraction, however, is the 32 room mansion, once the home of William Richards, the ironmaster.
