T-Bone’s Bill Tracker

You can now use T-Bone’s Bill Tracker to check the progress of the following bills.  When you click a bill, you will be sent its scoreboard.  The score board will explain the bill, give you a summary, and show you the pictures and votes the elected officials involved.  You can also share your thoughts and read the thoughts of others.   If there is a bill that is important to your class, send us an email and tell us why.  We will then add your bill to the line-up.  The bills are divided by subject and we will do our best to provide the most current information.

	Require School Districts to provide transportation to public and non-public school pupils living along hazardous routes.
	Requires boards of education to provide civics instruction in elementary and middle school grades and requires DOE to provide funding to enhance civics instruction.
	Requires criminal history record check of school district volunteers.
	Permits a child who moves out of a school district due to a family crisis to remain enrolled in that district until the end of the school year.
	Includes nonpublic schools and incidents occurring off school grounds in school bullying law and provides greater protections for victims of bullying.
	Revises the NJ STARS and NJ STARS II Programs.
	Revises penalties for a school bus driver who leaves a pupil on a school bus at the end of his route.
	Requires school districts to provide instruction on the dangers of texting while driving as part of the Core Curriculum Content Standards in Comprehensive Health and Physical Education.
